New York Walking Tours by a Local New Yorker

We offer a diverse selection of fun, high-quality walking tours throughout Central Park and other areas of New York City.

Tours are appropriate for small- and mid-sized groups (under 15 attendees) and larger groups such as alumnae, religious, and extended families. Tours address Historical, Nature, and LGBTQ elements of the Park and the city.

With advance notice, we may customize the tours with respect to duration, start or end locations, and points of interest, such as movie sites or the best photographic spots, including bird photography.

Beth Goffe — New York City, NY — Select Tours NYC

I am a long-term Upper West Side resident and a New York City history lover. I became a licensed New York City tour guide after my work focus shifted from Human Resources (Client Services and Data) in public and private sectors to Central Park. 

Thanks to my work both as an employee of the Central Park Conservancy and as a volunteer, I am a Central Park specialist. I am uniquely qualified to share with my clients the park's history, natural features, and the city's stories and secrets.

My interests are quite eclectic: the natural world, performing and visual arts (photography, film, theater, architecture, etc.), and current events. These add dimension and an entertaining breadth and scope to my tours.
